Biography: 

Pratap Tokekar is an associate professor of computer science with an appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.

His research in robotics focuses on developing algorithms that enable mobile robots to actively sense and gather data in various environments. Tokekar is also involved in creating systems for environmental monitoring applications.
