Michelle Mazurek

Michelle Mazurek is an associate professor of computer science with an appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies. She is director of the Maryland Cybersecurity Center (MC2).

Mazurek’s research focuses on human-centered computer security, aiming to understand and influence security and privacy behaviors by analyzing real data from actual users. Her work emphasizes the practical aspects of security and privacy, seeking to improve user interactions and preferences through empirical data.
